Beast Souls

The Journey of Beast Souls

Four years ago, the debut novel Beast Souls was written in Russian and posted on self-publishing websites in Russia. The novel quickly attracted thousands of readers and received numerous glowing reviews. However, the book’s journey took a dramatic turn after its author, Chingis Tsyrenov, openly condemned the criminal war initiated by the Russian government against Ukraine. Facing increasing persecution for his views and his work as an English teacher in a politically charged environment, in a country poisoned by propaganda, Chingis was forced to emigrate with his family to the United States, a country he had always dreamed of calling home.

Originally from Ulan-Ude, near the Mongolian border, Chingis holds a Master’s Degree in Philology and has spent years teaching English and German. Now living in the U.S., he has found the freedom to express his beliefs openly. He translated Beast Souls into English, believing its universal themes would resonate with readers across different cultures.

Beast Souls blends dystopian fiction, dark fantasy, psychological drama, and supernatural horror. It weaves together a gripping tale of survival, friendship, and the clash between civilization and the wild, while exploring themes of revenge, redemption, identity, and the destructive nature of humanity in a post-apocalyptic landscape. The novel also carries a strong anti-war message, urging readers to reflect on humanity’s long history of violence and self-destruction.

Beast Souls is a call to reconsider the way we treat nature, each other, and the world around us. Join the movement and help bring Beast Souls to life by supporting the campaign on Kickstarter.
